Welcome to Gerald Ford Elementary School!
On behalf of everyone in our Falcon community, I'd like to welcome you all to another exciting year as we learn and grow together. My name is Mr. Preston, and I look forward to another year of working alongside our school's amazing educators, support staff, students, families, and community members to help your child succeed!
Gerald Ford Elementary is an incredibly dynamic school with strong sense of community and a powerful drive towards achieving excellence. Because parent involvement can play such a significant role in a student's success, I encourage you to be a part of your child's education. There will be many opportunities for our staff to partner with our school families throughout the year - and we look forward to working together to help your child achieve their personal best!
As principal, I will work with our students, staff, and families as we continue to review, develop, and innovate our school's educational programs. Our educators continually raise the rigor and relevance for our students, foster an academically challenging educational philosophy, and guide all students towards achievement.
A little bit about me personally - I have three energetic daughters, Molly (10), Macy (8), and Mabel (6) our sweet dog Teddy, and a beautiful wife, Kelly, who is an oncology nurse for Eisenhower Health. They share in my excitement about Gerald Ford Elementary and look ahead to another great year.
